Welcome to Central House – student studio accommodation in the heart of Glasgow.
Located on Jamaica Street, students at Central House have the city centre on their door-step.
Both Caledonian University and the University of Strathclyde are less than 15-minutes walk from the building, and with both Glasgow Central Train Station and St Enoch Subway around the corner, students can easily travel to the West End and the University of Glasgow.
Central House is home to 66 students each year, offering a range of studios including our budget-friendly Single Bed Studios, to our spacious deluxe apartments.
Students at Central House also have flexibility on the length of their stay.

We offer dual occupancies in the majority of our room types – FREE OF CHARGE!

Living at Central House, not only do you get your own personal space to live in; but you can also take advantage of some great social spaces within the building too. Central House boasts two communal social spaces to meet up with friends.

We love hosting parties, movie and game nights or even putting on a more bespoke event, but we need your help! If you have an idea you’d like to put forward for your next building social, email us at glasgow@xeniastudents.com and let us know. What Else is Included?
To make things simpler, all bills are included in the rental price so there’s no need to worry about having to pay bills each month.
This includes Free WiFi, water, electricity and even content insurance.
The building also has an onsite Accommodation Team who are on-hand if you have any questions about your stay.
For peace-of-mind, Central House also has 24/7 CCTV and out-of-hours service.

My name is Shannon and I joined xenia students in January 2022. the most rewarding part about being a Lettings Assistant is helping all of the students with a nice comfortable place to stay and any other assistance they need and getting to know them all, I have previous work experience in the hotel business for 7 years with various of different roles that has helped with my role.

Hi there, my name is Kimberley and I joined Xenia in October 2023. I have enjoyed my time here so far and like helping tenants have a easy smooth move in to our Studios in Central House. I have worked in many different roles, from hotel, to bar work and in shops. I’d like to say I’m easy to talk to about anything and can have a laugh with anyone.
My favourite thing to do is spend time with my family & friends. I also enjoy surfing and listening to music.
