  • How do I book a viewing?

  • How do I book a room?

    You can book a room online by using the ‘BOOK ONLINE’ button (top right hand corner). It’s a really easy process and should take you 10 minutes max.

  • Do you allow multiple tenants in one room?

    Yes, we do.

    We charge a small fee for additional tenants.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

    In England, Prior to moving in cancellations must be made in writing to either the relevant Accommodation Team or [email protected].. You will receive confirmation in writing to confirm receipt of acceptance of your cancellation. Please note that the holding deposit will be retained by Xenia Students.

    If you have already moved into the property, a minimum 2-month notice is required by any tenant on an Assured Periodic Tenancy. This must be submitted in writing to either the Accommodation Team on site or by contacting [email protected]

     

    In Scotland, you may cancel your booking prior to moving into the property and any funds paid will be returned to you. Should you have started your tenancy, you will need to serve 28 days notice to leave, and your rent will be remain payable during this time.

  • I can't pay my rent, what should I do?

    If you are concerned that you cannot make your rental payment on time, firstly, please do not worry. The most important thing to do is to speak with your accommodation team as soon as possible, If you have a guarantor on your tenancy and your rent remains unpaid then Xenia are entitled to contact your guarantor and ask for payment from them.

  • What will happen if I don't pay my rent?

    The easiest way to ensure your payments are on time is to check your rent schedule, which can be found on the back page of your tenancy agreement and set up a standing order with your bank. A standing order is an instruction you make to your bank, you set thus up yourself, choose the amount that’s taken and the frequency of the payments.

    If you are concerned that you cannot make your rental payment on time, firstly, please do not worry.   • When do I get my deposit back?

    At the end of your tenancy, a member of the accommodation team will conduct a full inspection of your room. Providing there is no damage and your room has been left the same as when you moved in.

  • Can I bring a pet to live with me in one of your buildings?

    Due to new Renters Reform Legislations, tenants have the right to request to keep a pet in which landlords and agents cannot unreasonably refuse.
    However, the building lease may specify that pets are forbidden – in cases like this, the lease will supersede the right to have a pet.

    We recommend getting in touch with out lettings team should you wish to submit a request to have a pet.
    When getting in touch please be sure to:

    Submit a written, formal request detailing the pet (type, breed, size, age).

    Our team will respond within 28 days with a decision should the lease not already prohibit pets.
