With over 70,000 Nottingham Students, the city’s nightlife is constantly becoming more diverse. So whether you’re into dance or indie – so, there’ll be a club for you to enjoy almost every night of the week.
Crisis is the official Wednesday student night of Nottingham University, held at Rock City. Entry is ticketed – so you’ll have to be quick – but Crisis is said to be the biggest student club night in Nottingham, with 2,500 individuals there every week. The club is spread across three floors with different music in each. In conclusion, if you are arranging a social? Crisis can help you organise entry for your society on the night.
INK is renowned in Nottingham for its bespoke sound system, festival-style lighting, and video walls. The club features four themed clubs and eight bars, with the sound and lighting technology flowing throughout. INK is open every Friday and Saturday, with drinks starting at £2 – but entry is ticketed, and available on the website.
Nottingham Students like Rock City
When it’s not been taken over by Crisis, Rock City is a must for music lovers. Club nights are held every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with classic and alt anthems played across the three floors. Drink deals available include cocktails from £2.50 and 2-4-1 offers. Not up for a club night? No problem -Likewise, Rock City regularly hosts live music events and gigs, from bands on tour to tribute artists.
Another one for music fans, Bodega hosts a wide variety of club nights throughout the week to suit most tastes. Whether you want to listen to the best of the 70s and 80s, noughties indie classics, or even your favourite songs from original movie soundtracks – Bodega is the place to go. In the evening they included a selection of drink offers, including happy hour and 2-4-1, plus free entry to certain events for Nottingham Students.
The most dedicated clubbers might want to put Propaganda on their to-do list. Events are held every night from Wednesday to Sunday, and lasts until 5am. Above all, deals start from £1 for selected drinks, and entry is free for students every night. So, you should check out Propaganda!
Pryzm is one of the biggest venues in Nottingham, hosting up to 2,500 people at full capacity. Tuesday is a students-only night, with drink deals starting at just £2 across six themed rooms. Pryzm is still open on Monday, Friday, and Saturday, and regularly hosts a range of DJs and artists. However, entry is often ticketed, so make sure you check the website.
Stealth hosts club nights throughout the week dedicated to dance music. Guest DJs and artists regularly perform at events – with an aim of showcasing the best of up-and-coming talent in the industry. On Saturdays, Stealth teams up with Rescue Rooms to host what was voted Nottingham’s Best Club Night which is great for Nottingham Students: ‘Stealth v Rescued’. Five separate music and six bars play a huge range of different music styles for 1,200 people, complete with great drink deals (including 2-4-1), and even a Caribbean BBQ.
